PART 1: TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE (SUPPLY-ONLY)
Delivery (Kerbside Only)
All deliveries are made on a 'kerbside delivery' basis. Offloading, lifting, and safe transport of the goods into the site/premises are strictly the responsibility of the Buyer. VETRALINE is not liable for any damages that occur during or after the offloading process.
Inspection & Damages
The Buyer must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery. Any claims for damages, scratches, or missing items must be reported to VETRALINE in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.
Manufacturing Tolerances
All glass and aluminium products are manufactured strictly according to the Buyer's signed-off dimensions. Standard UK glass manufacturing tolerances (+/- 2mm) apply. VETRALINE accepts no liability for goods that do not fit due to inaccurate site measurements provided by the Buyer.
Payment Terms & Retention of Title
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence production. The remaining 50% balance must be cleared in full prior to the dispatch of goods to the delivery address. All goods remain the absolute property of VETRALINE ARCHITECTURAL GLASS SYSTEMS LTD until paid for in full.
PART 2: TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE AND INSTALLATION (SUPPLY & FIT)
Site Readiness & Welfare
The Buyer must ensure the site is clean, clear of debris, and secure prior to the arrival of VETRALINE installation operatives. The Buyer must provide free access to 110v/240v power, adequate lighting, and site welfare facilities. 'First fix' works (floors, ceilings, walls) must be fully completed and levelled.
Health, Safety & Compliance
VETRALINE will provide all necessary site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). All our installation operatives hold valid CSCS certification.
Abortive Visits & Delays
If our installation team arrives on-site on the agreed date and the site is not ready or accessible, an 'Abortive Visit Charge' of £350 per operative per day will be applied and added to the final invoice.
Practical Completion & Snagging
Upon completion of the installation, a VETRALINE representative and the Buyer will conduct a joint inspection and sign a Practical Completion certificate. Any minor defects ('snags') must be reported within 5 working days.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required upon order confirmation. 40% is due prior to the dispatch of materials. The final 10% is strictly due within 7 days of Practical Completion.
